OVERVIEW

Itison have been Scotland’s pioneering deal company for years, so when they asked us to help them launch in more cities across the UK, we couldn’t wait to see what they had in mind.

You may have used an Itison voucher to book a spa break, or you may have been to their incredible GlasGLOW event - but you’ve never seen a launch ad quite like this one!

OBJECTIVE

To create online content & TV adverts for Itison to launch nationwide and bring more amazing deals to millions around the UK. And also to clean up 1000 pink balls after every take…

BACKGROUND

“Itison.com now sends brilliant daily deals and great events to hundreds of thousands of members throughout Scotland, letting you find the best things to do in your city.”

SHOOTING

We began storyboarding and scripting with the Itison team, along with their main talent Cat Cubie (you might have seen her on the telly). Cat’s background in TV was absolutely crucial to the entire team nailing the production, as we were relying on her comic timing and delivery to sell the brand.

We cast in-house for some outrageous characters as per the script requirements and came up with absolute gold in the form of Reba Martell & Christopher MacDonald.

We broke the shoot into two very ambitious days to give us enough time for resets and retakes - trust us when we say it takes a long time to pick up 1000 balls and masses of confetti!

Itison’s social content & TV ad was filmed on Sony’s FS7, Samyang Cine Primes, Movi Freefly and SmallHD monitor.
